This is something I don’t see discussed as often as the initial weight loss. What happens when someone decides that strict keto isn’t for them anymore? Is it difficult to introduce carbohydrates again? Have you tried transitioning to a more balanced eating pattern after keto? I’m interested in how people maintain their results without feeling like they have to follow strict food rules forever.

I think the key is making the transition gradual rather than going back to old habits overnight. When I moved away from strict keto, I started adding fruits, oats and whole grains in small portions. It took a little time to find the right balance, but I realized that maintaining results is more about consistency than restriction. Especially when exploring how to lose weight over 50, having a flexible eating pattern that you can actually enjoy long term makes all the difference.
