My husband and I started trying to conceive in January 2020. I’m 28 years old. I got pregnant in April 2020 and miscarried at 7 1/2 weeks. I had dilation and curettage (D&C) surgery and didn’t get my period back until 6 weeks later. We started trying again and got pregnant right away. I had another early miscarriage just over 5 weeks. If you have recently went through a miscarriage, I am with you. If you are experiencing any difficulty getting pregnant, I understand. I don’t think miscarriage is spoken of enough for how often it happens.

Hi, I am so sorry to know your story. Unfortunately, there are too many reasons of mcs; it’s best to do some tests to check your  and your hubby health. Good luck on your journey.

            Dear Christina,

Thank you for sharing. I hope all is well with you now and sending you much love!!

I had a similar experience. I had my first miscarriage this February around 8 weeks. It was terrible, the whole process took 3 weeks and was absolutely draining. After my next period, I got pregnant again right away but didn’t know about that. Tests didn’t show positive results and I thought my period delay was due to my recent miscarriage. I only learnt that I was pregnant during the miscarriage.

I couldn’t share with anybody for the longest time although I really wanted to. Just couldn’t force myself to say it out loud. Finally, I shared it with my friend and she recommended me the book “It Starts with the Egg” for which I’m forever grateful. Even after the second miscarriage, doctors told me that these things happen, that it doesn’t mean that it will repeat again. I tried to search online and saw the same ‘it just happens’ information.

I’m going through this book right now and it gives me the strength to try again (thought of which was quite terrifying for both me and my partner). Per the research and book reviews on Amazon, you CAN increase your odds following a certain protocol. Of course, I don’t have my own positive result yet but wanted to share now and not in 12 months, while some other women may go through such a devastating experience. I wish I knew about it before.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am going to post next week on femUNITY’s Instagram about miscarriages and direct more people to this post who can relate. I know how common it is and why it is not talked about more?… I’m not sure.

Sending you love and we will find you support here. xx
