I feel so alone navigating menopause in my twenties. Between the low sex drive and isolation, it’s been difficult to find resources for women dealing with menopause at a young age. I have also had a difficult time talking to my partner about what I need or want (probably because I don’t know!) I feel like the longer I am dealing with this, the more I have avoided talking about it.

Hi – I am in the exact same boat. I just realized that I am now in medically-induced menopause and it actually explains a lot.
My friends are all having sex every day or every other day and if my partner and I do once every 2 weeks, it’s a big deal. Mainly because the pain for me is bad but also I just never think of it, I don’t feel sexual the way I used to… My partner is amazing but it is still super difficult to talk about and have someone understand.

I relate to what Nicole and Caroline shared. I’m also going through early menopause, and honestly, it’s such a weird and isolating experience, especially when no one around you is dealing with the same thing. The changes in libido, the emotional stuff, and just trying to communicate with a partner who doesn’t get it, it’s all so tough.

I am also in the same boat. I am also dealing with premature menopause. I am going through many problems like sleeping issues, migraines, libido, and weight gain. My doctor suggested some medication to handle these problems, but it is very tough to deal with the mental stress you are getting from this situation.
