I run a pretty successful Instagram blog focused on relationship advice and women’s health. I recently decided to branch out into Twitter to land more ad deals and increase my overall revenue. The algorithms over there feel completely different from what I’m used to on a visual feed. A good chunk of my Instagram followers migrated over to support me, but my organic growth from the app itself is super slow. My follower count barely moves even though I post detailed and interesting threads every week. How can I boost my profile on that platform to gain some real popularity?

It’s so frustrating to build a fresh audience on a new app when you’re used to high engagement. The pace over there is completely different compared to a nice visual feed. Most users log on to read quick jokes or complain about their day rather than dive into serious topics. You might want to try replying to larger accounts that focus on women’s issues to get your handle out there. A thoughtful comment under a popular tweet makes people curious enough to click on your profile and read your main threads.
