Got a strange one that’s been bothering me for a while. My AC blows cold, no complaints there, but there’s this faint ticking or clicking sound that seems to come from the dashboard area whenever the compressor cycles on and off. It’s not super loud but noticeable enough that it annoys me, especially at night when it’s quiet. Sounds almost like a relay clicking or maybe something plastic expanding and contracting. A friend thought it might be the blend door actuator making noise but those usually sound more like plastic gears grinding from what I’ve seen on YouTube. I’m worried if I ignore it something might eventually break and leave me with no AC or a big repair bill. Don’t really want to take it to a general garage that might not know these specific AC noises. Found Car AC Repair Sharjah online and they seem to focus specifically on AC systems so hopefully they’d recognise common sounds. Has anyone taken a car there with AC noise issues, did they correctly identify the source and was the fix reasonable? Just want some peace and quiet while driving.
