Hey. There’s a student project at Memorial that focuses on waste. Check out Project R3D https://mmsb.nl.ca/education/champion-for-a-greener-future/project-r3d/ — it’s run by Enactus Memorial and tackles waste management. Project R3D stands for reduce, reuse, recycle, and divert. The project works with local businesses and communities to cut down waste going to landfills. I read about Project R3D winning a regional innovation challenge, they partnered with the province’s waste management board. The students behind it developed tools to help businesses track and reduce waste. It’s part of a bigger push at Memorial for sustainability.
