Hi there. I just bought a digital piano and I want to practise interactively, slowing the tempo down, listening to individual parts and working through tricky passages bit by bit. Plain PDF sheets don’t quite cut it for that. Are there any sellers that also offer files you can manipulate flexibly on a computer or the piano itself? I’m reasonably comfortable with technology but I’m not sure what to look for when buying. Any pointers would be much appreciated, I don’t want to waste money on the wrong format.

Hello. For interactive practice, MIDI files are the thing you’re after. On Note-Store https://note-store.com/ you can buy a MIDI file alongside the PDF for many pieces. It opens in all sorts of software, letting you change the tempo, listen to separate voices and practise difficult passages more slowly, exactly what you’re describing. That turns the notation from a fixed image into a flexible learning tool. When buying, just check whether the MIDI format is offered, it’s clearly marked on the listing. Personally it helped me enormously when drilling the harder sections of a piece, well worth it.
